We had the privilege of constructing a stunning family home for our clients, perfectly positioned to capture stunning views of Lake Tarawera and Mount Tarawera.
Designed by the talented team at Box Architecture, this home features striking black Weathertex Weather Grove cladding, complemented by wrap-around Kwila decks that only enhance the natural beauty of the surroundings. With so many moving parts in this build, we knew keeping everything on track would be key. That’s why we used Rave - it gave us the structure and tools to deliver at our best, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.
From the start, Rave Build made a huge difference in keeping everything running smoothly. Its budget forecasting tools helped us stay on top of costs, giving our clients full transparency and peace of mind. At Tailored Builds, communication is at the heart of what we do, and Rave’s trade scheduling tool made it easy to keep everyone in the loop. It helped us coordinate with subcontractors, stay on schedule, and keep the project moving without unnecessary delays.
Inside, the oak flooring flows seamlessly through the spacious four-bedroom layout, including a thoughtfully designed main bathroom. The master bedroom is a highlight, with large corner windows that perfectly frame the lake and bush views, alongside a generous ensuite and walk-in wardrobe.
At the heart of the home, the kitchen stands out with its cedar sarked ceilings that add warmth and character. Gaboon plywood cabinetry ties the space together, creating a modern yet inviting atmosphere for everyday living.
