We’ve recently made a couple changes to the Rave Build App that we think you’ll agree, are quite handy! The NEW RaveBuild App is available for you to download and install now. Read on to find out what these updates are.
New Pin Number feature
The next time you log into RAVE via the mobile or tablet App, you'll be prompted to set up a four digit pin number. Moving forward you will use that pin number to log in on your device, even if you close the app, or turn off the device. The only time this will change is if you ever log out of the App. This saves you the time of entering your login details each time, but still maintains a level of security to authenticate “you as you” when accessing the App.
If you ever have to log out of the app, the next time you log back in, you will be prompted to create your four digit pin number again.
New Project sub-menu tabs
We have also added the 'People' and 'Messages' project sub-menu tabs to the mobile and tablet App. These allow you to manage access to your projects and improve communication for your projects while you're on the go - which means our App is an even more effective tool for your day to day project management than it already was.
And finally, we have changed the Build Overview Schedule pie chart to be consistent with the Task Gantt colours - i.e Grey (Open), Purple (Ordered), Green (Working), and Blue (Completed).
This update should also resolve any PDF opening/reading/downloading issues. Please note: On android devices, PDF files are downloaded, not opened. Please make sure you have a PDF viewer programme loaded on your device to view these downloaded PDF files.
