A new system-wide update is now live. This update is focussed on a particular area - the Site/Build Build Projects tab. More specifically, the Build Projects table that is essentially the engine-room of RAVE for project managers. In this run-through, we’re going to go through the adjustments one-by-one so that you’re up to speed with what the changes are and how you can ensure you make the most of them.

While we’ve got your attention, we’d also like to remind you that the new version of the RaveBuild mobile and tablet App is available to download and install now. We ran through the fresh changes in a recent blog here.

Starting from the left of the table you can see we’ve made no changes to the Client column. The first change you’ll notice is we’ve modified the Job number column to include the Contract Name in there too, this is pulled from the Project Overview details i.e. the project name/subdivision type etc.

We’ve removed the Lot number column and just added this info into the Address column for easy access. Then continuing to the right, there is no change to the DP number or Project Manager columns.

To finish off, we’ve added a NEW column, titled “Project Status”. This displays “where things are at”. Like, for example, Pricing and Estimating, Preconstruction, Design and Specifications, and more. The Project Status information is again, pulled from the Project Overview details.

So there you have it, a few subtle yet functional adjustments to a crucial table within RAVE, as always if you have any questions regarding this or any other feature you can head to RAVE help, or contact our NZ-based support team at support@ravebuild.co.nz or call us at (NZ) 07-210-2228 or (AUS)1800-179-163.
