New User Groups – Site Manager and Site Staff

  • Two new user groups have been added in Rave. You now have the ability to add a Site Manager and/or a Site Staff member. Each user group has a more limited branch level access than a traditional 'branch' user, but they do have far more project access and functionality than your contractor and suppliers - refer to the descriptions below for more details.
  • You can add a Site Manager and/or Site Staff member via the 'Set Permission' section of your branch owner user profile, and selecting the new “Site Staff/Managers” tab.

Following below are the permissions for the respective users:

Site Managers can:

  • View allocated projects (via the project's People tab), or all projects based on their user permission
  • View/edit all tasks in the project's they have been assigned and also add comments and photos
  • Add Time Sheets
  • Add Purchase Orders - when Rave Financial is activated for the branch, and the “Finance” user permission is checked
  • Upload Files to all folders - with the same permissions as a branch user
  • Access the project Checklist and Messages

Site Staff can:

  • Only view allocated projects (via the project's People tab)
  • View all tasks in the project assigned to them, add comments and photos and request a task status update - with the same permissions as a contractor/supplier
  • Add their Time Sheet entries
  • Add Purchase Orders without pricing - when Rave Financial is activated for the branch, and the “Finance” user permission is checked
  • Upload Files to the “Images” folder
  • Access the project Checklist and Messages

Choose Progress Payment Due Date - Update

  • When requesting any progress payment, branches now have a choice to select the due date on their client's invoices.

Rave Financial - 'Bills in' and 'Invoices out' description changes - Update

  • The “Add a credit note” wording (via the "Add a bill" dropdown menu on the "Budget/Bills In" tab) has been changed to read “Add a Supplier Credit Note”.
  • The “Add a credit note” wording (on the "Budget/Invoices Out" tab) has been changed to read “Add Client Credit Note”.

Rave Financial - Charge Up Invoice/Bill to Pay notification error - Bug Fix

  • Previously, when a branch user created a charge up invoice, the branch user was sent an incorrect notification saying they have a new bill to pay - this notification has been stopped.

Rave Financial - Create Client Invoices from Purchase Order or Quote - Update

  • Rave Financial Purchase Orders can now be converted into a Client Invoice with no Supplier Bill
  • Quotes can be converted into a Client Invoice with no Purchase Order or Supplier Bill
  • We’ve also added ‘Create Invoice’ buttons on each of the Quote and Purchase Order pages

Rave Financial - Client Invoice Reports - Update

  • We've added some new reports in the Reporting (New)/Client Invoices section titled “Invoices from Bills” and “Other invoices”, which displays invoices that are generated from Bills, Purchase orders and Quotes.
