Rave's Time Tracking Widget - New Feature
Note: This is just the beginning of many exciting updates to Rave's Timesheets feature. We'll keep you informed with further updates as they roll out.
Time tracking enables you to clock in and out of a job when you are on-site and working on a task(s). We have updated the way you are able to clock in and out, making it easier than ever!
We now have a 'clock in, clock out' widget located under your user dropdown on every page in RAVE, allowing you to clock in or out from any page, for any job!
To Add a Timesheet Entry:
1. Click on the Widget (clock) under your user dropdown
2. Click the + icon in the bottom left corner
3. From here you can enter your clock in and/or clock out time, select the project, add a tag, and add any additional notes then click on the 'Add Entry' button to confirm.
TIPS: Clicking back on the widget, you will see all your entries for the day, with the ability to look at previous dates via the back arrow. If needed, the entry can also be edited or deleted.For more tips/instructions on how to add an entry, hover over the question mark in the top right corner.
To start a running clock:
1. Click on the Widget (clock) under your user dropdown
2. Click on the 'play' button in the green circle at the bottom right of the screen to start the clock.
3. Once the clock starts, it will say 'Clocked In' at the bottom of the screen. To clock out, click on the 'stop' button at the bottom right of the screen in the red circle.
Rave's 'My Timesheets' + 'Branch Timesheets' Screens
Rave's Timesheets now has two Timesheet summary screen - the My Timesheets page, and the Branch Timesheets page, available via your profile dropdown option.
The My Timesheets Screen
The My Timesheets screen gives you a list of your timesheet entries only - from this screen you have the ability to:
- Add a new entry for yourself
- Set a Start and End date for your timesheet report
- Search for a specific timesheet entry
- Edit or Delete a timesheet entry
The Branch Timesheets Screen
Those with Branch Timesheet View/Add/Edit permissions have the ability to view a list of all timesheet entries for the branch - with a wider range of search and edit options. From the branch Timesheets screen you can:
- Hide Closed Project timesheet entries from being displayed
- Filter the report by specific project(s), user(s) and staff type(s)
- Set a Start and End date for your timesheet report
- Export your report to CSV
- Add a new entry for anyone in your branch
- Edit or Delete a timesheet entry
