Every two weeks, we'll post a 'General Update' on the UPDATES page of our website, highlighting all the new features and improvements from the past fortnight. We’ll also include a link to these updates in our monthly newsletter, making it easy for you to stay informed and access the latest features and enhancements.
In this update, we're detailing these awesome improvements and features:
For branches using the Enterprise Scheduling module, you can now customise task colours when viewing schedules in Task List, Task Gantt, or Task Calendar views. Branch, Site Manager, and Site Staff users will see the custom colours, while contractors and clients with schedule access will continue to see the default status colours—grey, purple, green, and blue.

Rave now lets you set a default break time for each user, so you don’t have to manually enter it every day.

Rave has introduced the option to customise work hours per user with a simple switch. Users can now set their own default work hours for each day of the week on their profile page. Whether full-time or part-time, salespeople who work weekends or take weekdays off can easily adjust their hours. Managers with the appropriate permissions (Add/Edit/Delete) can edit these settings, and all changes are tracked through the audit trail. Default settings will auto-fill with 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, but users can modify them as needed. These hours will sync with timesheets, and a caution sign will appear when hours exceed the expected. Hovering over the caution sign will display the expected versus actual hours worked for clarity.

Rave has added a new Overview tab to the Branch Timesheets page for easier tracking and filtering. Here’s a quick rundown of the features:
Date Period Filter: Choose from "This Week," "Last Week," or "Next Week."
Users Filter: Select individual users, multiple users, or "Select All."
Projects Filter: Choose individual projects, multiple projects, or "Select All."
Data Table Layout: The first column displays user names, with Monday through Sunday (dated based on the selected period) across the top. Each day shows total hours worked, breaks (in brackets), and total time minus breaks.
Data Table Order: Users will be listed in alphabetical order for easy navigation.
This new tab makes reviewing timesheets across teams much more streamlined!
